About Us

The Moving Targets interactive comedy shows are a crossbreed of "Saturday Night Live" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Born two weeks following the 9/11 attacks, the group developed a loyal following during the nine month run of their first show "The News at 10" at the Bitter Truth Theatre, and the holiday run of "Happy Chriskwansika; The Year in Revue" at the Secret Rose Theatre, both in NoHo. They've also played to acclaim and sold out houses at the Phoenix Improv Festival, the Chicago Improv Festival, and the NoHo Arts Festival.

Their current show, “On Target” chronicles the war in Iraq, the ongoing war on terror and other topical news like cloning, corporate scandal and life in LA.

The talented cast of comedy veterans includes a Buddhist, a Quadriplegic, and a Jewish Mexican. “Our diversity is our strength,” said Deborah Sale Butler, the show’s Producing Director. “We have a great ensemble of performer/writers with a variety of viewpoints, and they always keep our sketches and improv fresh and topical.”
